Preserve your clothes for the long term
- Prefer washing at 30°! Modern washing machines are very efficient, even at 20°.
- Moderate spinning will also be better for your laundry (no more spinning at 1200 revolutions) to avoid friction, twisting, stretching (…).
- Fill your machine moderately. It is necessary to leave the space of a “good” hand between the top of the drum and the laundry. With an overfilled machine "Stuffed to empty the basket" the clothes will have too much friction. And rinsing will not be ideal either, you will have traces of detergent deposits.
- To take care of your printed and/or intensely colored textiles, it is recommended to wash them inside out to avoid fading through friction.
We recap! So to keep your printed clothing as long as possible:
Wash at 30°, spin moderately, avoid cramming the machine (LOL) and wash your garment inside out. One last thing for the road: avoid the dryer!
